So you know that last shoot I had with Marie Killen, Elizabeth Tolley and Olivia Pires? You know the one that started with a tea-cup?  Well one of those images has been published online at Vogue Italia. You can see why they chose this image. After last season’s introduction of bright colors, prints and opulent embellishments nothing was stronger on the Spring 2013 runway as the basic black and white. Shown best by Marc Jacobs, his nod to the 60’s was featured using checkerboard patterns and bold vertical stripes. These new pieces are easy to incorporate by adding a bold striped top or sheath dress under a black boyfriend blazer for the office, or try a checkerboard mini and a single sole pointed toe high heel for date night. My absolute favorite shoot with Charlotte Living Magazine.  I had the concept but no venue and at the last minute my dear friend suggested her sister’s house that she had just moved out of. It was a beautiful ranch with a horse barn. I all ready knew I wanted to do a take on the 70’s. Fortunately the weather and the venue helped me bring it all together, not to mention a special visit with my producer. I wanted a natural, earthy look.
