How to Wear Prints
The easiest way to wear all those striped tee’s or sweaters in your closet is very simple, floral skirts. BCBG, Clover Canyon and J Crew are examples of designers and retailers you can choose. Compliment your tee or button down with the same color found in these new bold or soft floral bouquets.
Ikat prints are great to mix with Navajo inspired textiles or ethnic prints. Their exuberant color stories are great for everyday wear.
Abstract print tops or bottoms pair well with all the great , bold colors that are dominant this fall. Red, Green and Cobalt Blue’s bring out the best of the 60″s inspired prints that are dominating the pages of your favorite fashion magazines.
And let’s not forget the instant classic, Paisley. This print this fall takes on a new attitude. Ralph Lauren and Ricardo Tisci do a great interpretation. I happen to like the clutch from Etro myself or shoes with the subtle pattern.
