Target Scores Once Again

After months of anticipation, the limited-edition collaboration between Target and Joseph Altuzarra launched Sunday September 14th. In Charlotte , the collection was only available in two stores. What I didn’t know was that Target started their new store hours at 7am instead of their typical 8am. As I approached the parking deck anticipating the lines outside the double wide sliding doors, I noticed people walking out with bags. Slightly panicked, I parked and started sprinting to the front, only to remember that I placed my order online at 3am. Thanks to a combination of IPad and IPhone , and Target and Net-A-Porter, I quickly made my purchases and returned to sleep. But not before double checking I had set my alarm to 7am.

The Paris -born designer launched his own collection in 2008. He is known in the fashion world for modern yet sexy silhouettes. Although not the most well known collaborator of Targets designer collections, he worked with Proenza Schouler, Ricardo Tisci and Marc Jacobs. Winner of the CFDA’s 2014 Womenswear Designer of the Year, he is a force within the industry.

I hope you had the chance to take advantage of this collaboration. If not you can find the limited -edition pieces at Target and Net-A-Porter.  Here are a few of my favorite pieces. Enjoy!
