Normally one to like old Hollywood glamour on the Red Carpet, I found myself fascinated by the beautiful column dresses that made their way down the carpet this year. There is something so hauntingly seductive about the new silhouettes shown for Fall 2013. With a preponderance of leather, moto jackets, vests, studs, spikes and chains you would think more motorcycle gangs, instead you see the beautifully feminine, fluid movements of the garments surrounding these tough biker looks on the runways of Fall’s New York’s Fashion Week. Hot Trends to look Cool this Spring

After last season’s introduction of bright colors, prints and opulent embellishments nothing was stronger on the Spring 2013 runway as the basic black and white. Shown best by Marc Jacobs, his nod to the 60’s was featured using checkerboard patterns and bold vertical stripes. These new pieces are easy to incorporate by adding a bold striped top or sheath dress under a black boyfriend blazer for the office, or try a checkerboard mini and a single sole pointed toe high heel for date night.
