Playful and colorful, this season’s printed pant trend will have even the most timeless and classic creatures wanting to don a bold striped or floral bottom. They are fun and colorful and come in variety of prints and fabrics. Since these graphic bottoms do call attention to your lower half, here are some ideas on how to make this trend work for you. If you like a floral pattern and you are feeling a little heavier around the hips or thighs stay away from a ditsy print (tiny, usually floral). Try a vertical stripe or dark tightly spaced print. Be careful, that there isn’t too much fabric , especially in the new silky fabrics,...
Hot Trends to look Cool this Spring
posted by Styled Now!
After last season’s introduction of bright colors, prints and opulent embellishments nothing was stronger on the Spring 2013 runway as the basic black and white. Shown best by Marc Jacobs, his nod to the 60’s was featured using checkerboard patterns and bold vertical stripes. These new pieces are easy to incorporate by adding a bold striped top or sheath dress under a black boyfriend blazer for the office, or try a checkerboard mini and a single sole pointed toe high heel for date night. Thick or thin, vertical or horizontal, Spring 2013 is all about stripes. Michael Kors, an all time favorite in creating what women want, uses stripes in...

High shine textures or mirrored effects on skirts, heels or accessories are exhilarating this spring and can be combined with this season’s delicate pastels. The Black and White of it All
posted by Styled Now!
Black and White, one of spring’s boldest trends, can be found in many collections this year. Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Pamella Roland and Alice & Olivia are good examples, but no one did it more justice than Marc Jacobs. In the final parade of his Spring/Summer 2013 runway show, lines blurred into each other as the models paraded down the runway forming a pyramid. His silhouettes were mod, accessories linear and the color primarily black and white.
